During an eye test in Szczecin, our optometrist will assess the state of your visual system. They will carry out a comprehensive check of visual acuity, accommodation and eye alignment. Should any concerning signs be detected, you will be referred to the appropriate specialist.
Over time, glasses will inevitably need straightening, thorough cleaning or repair. All glasses purchased from us are covered by a complimentary annual service package. This includes adjustment, straightening, cleaning and a 50% discount on replacement parts (e.g. a broken temple tip).
The eye test at proOptyk is always free of charge. It is carried out by an experienced optometrist.
A full eye test takes approximately 20–30 minutes. It includes checking distance and near visual acuity, assessment of accommodation, eye alignment and selection of the correct prescription. It is worth allowing around 45 minutes for the appointment, including frame selection.
Please bring any previous test results, lens certificates and your old glasses if possible – even if they are broken. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses at least 2 hours before the test.
No – an optometric examination at an optical shop is a private appointment and does not require a referral from a doctor. Simply book by phone or through the online booking system.
Yes. Adjustments, straightening, replacement of nose pads and temple tips, and ultrasonic cleaning – we carry out all of these regardless of where the glasses were purchased. No appointment necessary during opening hours.
It depends on the type of lenses. Some single vision glasses can be ready within an hour. Standard single vision lenses are usually ready in 1–2 working days. Progressive and office lenses typically require 7–14 working days.
